ABOUT THIS PROGRAM
The Harlem Entrepreneurial Fund (HEF) is an economic development initiative designed to help small businesses by providing loan capital and technical assistance.
The commercial loans will provide gap financing to local businesses that intend to create permanent jobs and provide meaningful employment opportunities.
BASIC ELIGIBILITY
- Bronx and Harlem-based small business
- Three to four year track record
- Start-ups may be considered
- New York State organized entity
- A business plan
- Good credit score
PRODUCTS AND SERVICES FOR ELIGIBLE BORROWERS
HEF offers to eligible borrowers:
- Loans up to $25,000
- Low interest rates
- One to three year loan terms
- Accounting and business literacy seminars
- Small business financial management
- Provider referrals
