Programs for Young Adults

The ITET: Independence Through Education and Training program aims to help young adults, ages 18-24, understand the importance of education as a pre-requisite for a meaningful career and a productive life.period.
The heart of the program is a structured course of study that will operate four days a week from 9:00am to 4:00pm. It will run from December 2009 to August 2010, recruitment will begin in November 2009.

The mornings will be devoted to academic instruction. Afternoons will focus on career exploration, work readiness training, skills training, financial literacy and academic support.
