The heart of the program is a structured course of study that will operate four days a week from 9:00am to 4:00pm. It will run from December 2009 to August 2010, recruitment will begin in November 2009.
The mornings will be devoted to academic instruction. Afternoons will focus on career exploration, work readiness training, skills training, financial literacy and academic support. It is the belief of HCC that, when given the proper tools, young people can succeed and thrive in the world. The goal of this program is to equip young people with the skills to do that.
